Tháng 5 đã về, tháng hoa dâng kính Mẹ. Trong tâm tình là người con thảo, xin được dâng lên Mẹ những đóa hoa lòng chứa chan tâm tình mến yêu. Xin dâng lên Mẹ những tâm hồn đơn sơ, những lời cầu nguyện cho các gia đình được hiệp hành trong yêu thương, cho Giáo hội luôn là ngọn lửa hy vọng giữa thế gian. Đặc biệt, con dâng lên Mẹ các Hồng y, những vị đang chuẩn bị họp Mật nghị để bầu chọn vị Giáo hoàng kế vị Thánh Phêrô theo thánh ý Chúa. Xin Mẹ Maria hướng dẫn các ngài bằng ánh sáng Chúa Thánh Thần, để Giáo hội được dẫn dắt bởi vị Mục tử nhân lành, như lòng Chúa mong muốn.

Ôi! Mẹ Maria! Với trái tim yêu thương Mẹ dạy chúng con phải biết yêu thương và bày tỏ lòng thương xót với mọi người. Với lòng khiêm nhu chân thành, Mẹ dạy chúng con biết sống thánh thiện và trong sạch trong tâm hồn. Với tâm tình hiến dâng và trọn niềm phó thác, Mẹ dạy chúng con biết cậy trông và tin tưởng vào quyền năng của Chúa. Mẹ luôn đồng hành với chúng con trên những chặng đường gian khó của cuộc đời. Mẹ luôn thương yêu chúng con dù chúng con có rời xa Mẹ. Chúng con tạ ơn Chúa đã tặng ban cho chúng con một bông hoa tuyệt vời nhất trần gian. Chúng con cảm ơn Mẹ vì đã luôn ở bên chúng con.

Lạy Mẹ Maria, nhìn lên Mẹ, chúng con được mời gọi thắp lên niềm hy vọng trong những thử thách của cuộc sống. Mẹ đã từng đi qua những đêm tối đức tin, nhưng Mẹ vẫn luôn bước đi – bằng một niềm tin vững vàng và một tình yêu không đổi. Nguyện xin Mẹ Maria tiếp tục đồng hành với từng người chúng con, để trên mọi nẻo đường dâng hiến, dù có khi mịt mù hay đầy thử thách, chúng con vẫn luôn giữ vững lòng cậy trông và tiến bước trong hy vọng – một hy vọng được thắp sáng bởi tình yêu Thiên Chúa. At the end of the Mass to start construction of the Pilgrimage Center of Our Lady of the Bows on August 15, 2018, I wanted to share with all the Diocese families, those present as well as those who are absent. , especially those who attended Mass through the diocesan media, shared their thoughts. However, because the weather conditions at that time did not allow it, I wrote these sentiments today to send to all the children of the Diocese who are living inside or outside the Xuan Loc Diocese.

First of all, please join us in praying for the construction of the Pilgrimage Center of Our Lady of Cui Mountain to be done well and in peace. In addition, I would like to ask all the children of the Diocese to join us in praying for the pilgrims who will visit Our Lady at this Center. May all who come here, especially the suffering, the sick, the lonely, the destitute, the depressed and despairing lives, the trying families, may experience mercy of God and find the consolation, help and support of Our Lady.

The second sentiment is that I wish that the construction of Our Lady of Nui Cui Center will be enthusiastically cooperated by all the Diocese families. This is an opportunity for all dioceses to grow more in faith, in the spirit of unity of love, in their commitment to charity and to bear witness to God in front of their brothers and sisters. As a result, the Center for Our Lady of Nui Cui Center is not only a juxtaposition of concrete blocks and bricks, but an expression of the loving unity of everyone in the Diocese. Therefore, I ask everyone to make an effort to cooperate with prayer, with sacrifices and by contributing efforts and material means. Those who have a lot, contribute a lot, those who have little, contribute a little, but in faith and unity, no one loses. Even if it is only two coins of the widow, if packed with all faith in the Lord, it is also a valuable and great contribution (Mk 12:41-44). May the day of the inauguration of Our Lady of Cui Mountain Pilgrimage Center, all the children of the Diocese, from children to the elderly, will all be happy and joyful and everyone can say that : “I did my part for the construction of the Center of Our Lady”.

The last sentiment I would like to express is the desire to see all the children of the Diocese as witnesses of God’s mercy and everywhere sowing the seeds of God’s mercy. In the Gospel reading of the Assumption Mass, we have heard and joined Our Lady in the praise of God: “God’s mercy passes from generation to generation”.

We have accepted God’s mercy! So, when we leave, let us take God’s mercy with us to water all the Diocese’s land with drops of mercy and sow the seeds of God’s mercy into the caves and alleys, crept into families, imbued with the suffering, sick, precarious and unlucky lives, and especially to families who are in discord, disagreement or humiliation because someone in the family is addicted to alcohol. flooding, gambling, red and black… so that everyone can taste God’s mercy through the love of their brothers and sisters. To achieve this aspiration, we need to do two things:
1/ Each person needs to realize that he is also in need of God’s mercy and that of others, because “humanity is not perfect” and “If God accepts sins, who can be saved” (Abyss Suffering). Those who humbly acknowledge their sinful condition and frailty to ask for forgiveness will feel the mercy of God and of others. The consolation and joy that flow from the mercy we have received will help us to open our hearts to others in their weaknesses and to forgive their mistakes.
2/ The compassion experienced in the heart needs to be spread within the family to spread everywhere. The second part of our Diocese’s pastoral theme this year is “Families Be a Sign of God’s Mercy. Accompanying Young Families”. May families, especially young families, practice to treat each other with mercy, making the family a place of “mercy” and thus parishes and our entire Diocese. will become the “mecca of mercy”.

The 65-member Charity Group including monks, GLV brothers and sisters and young people said their goodbyes to return: those who left and stayed behind were too attached. After being tested negative for COVID19, 40 people will return to Saint Martino’s Temple to rest and safely isolate before returning to the Congregation, with their families. The rest will continue to commit to serving in the coming days.

At 6:30, Thanksgiving Mass is full of holiness, peace and emotion. Just started the army today, but now it’s time to return. The invitation to follow the example of Mary to “hurry to visit and help her cousin Elizabeth” by Father Vicar General Dominic Nguyen Tuan Anh still remains with each volunteer. Leaving in a hurry, serving hard, but still full of joy. The youth and the desire to contribute something to the compatriots and brothers and sisters in the pandemic situation, and especially the Lord’s call to commit through the letter of the Diocese, the volunteers rushed to rushed to the road and now has successfully completed in peace.

Before leaving, the group thanked TTYT Bien Hoa and sent a message through the Representative General to the Bishops of Diocese, Fathers in charge of Charity, and the Government thank you for creating conditions for the Volunteer Group. have the opportunity to serve here to Spread Love for everyone, especially COVID19 patients.

At 2pm, the 40-member Volunteer Group returned to Saint Martino – Ho Nai in peace. This place is arranged by the Diocese with the Dominican Order to create a peaceful rest for the volunteers who are quarantined for 14 days before returning to work and their families.

I used to preach that love conquers fear. And now, I am even more convinced of it. Love not only helps you overcome fear, but also gives you the strength to dare to accept hardships, and even injuries, or sufferings.
